CPU Most Important Part of PC System

CPU (Central Processing Unit) the heart of your PC which install on motherboard. All things are happens here. CPU is installed in socket which is based on motherboard. From the first generations CPU has changed so much in look in power.
First Generation (1940-1956)
The first computers used vacuum tubes for circuitry and magnetic drums for memory, and were often enormous, taking up entire rooms.
Second Generation (1956-1963)
Transistors replaced vacuum tubes and ushered in the second generation of computers. The transistor was invented in 1947 but did not see widespread use in computers until the late 1950s.
Third Generation (1964-1971) integrated circuit introduced in the third generation of computers. Transistors were miniaturized and placed on silicon chips, called semiconductors, which drastically increased the speed and efficiency of computers.
Fourth Generation (1971-Present) MicroprocessorsThe microprocessor brought the fourth generation of computers, as thousands of integrated circuits were built onto a single silicon chip. The first generation computer is occupy entire room but in this generation computer has change his face which is now we can see its fit in our palm of the hand.
Fifth Generation (Present and Beyond) Artificial IntelligenceFifth generation computing devices, based on artificial intelligence, are still in development, though there are some applications, such as voice recognition, that are being used today.

Ok this little bit history about cpu or computer development. But we are now in 2009 and you can see how compter change its size dwsign look and speed.
Today in market we have teo major companies in the market who makes chips or cpu is Intel and AMD. Intel is developed some path breaking CPU’S and AMD (Advanced Micro Device) also developed some like 64 bit CPU to fight with Intel.
You are thinking how do you decide to buy CPU which is fulfill your needs. See it depends on your work like if you are just using PC for some accounting work and surf internet or you are interested in games with full graphics or you are an animator video editor like CPU hungry works.
Now in the market CPU’s offer both price and performance for you.
Lets begin your shopping to buy CPU suites you. In next chapter we are discussing which CPU best for you. Till then Bye Happy Shopping.
